DIE-CUTTING
We use a first-class die-cutting press from the German manufacturer Schön & Sandt AG. Thanks to the machine, we can cut practically any shape you require for your project.
SPLITTING
Leather thickness is adjusted during splitting. The reason for this process is the different requirements for upholstering various interior parts.
SKIVING
Skiving is used to reduce the thickness of the leather around the edges of the individual cuts where the cuts are stitched together.
UPHOLSTERING
Manual upholstery is our premium service. The stitched parts (cut-outs) are shaped by hand, the edges are set and then trimmed.
SEWING
Sewing is done by professional seamstresses having many years of experience in the field. A well-sewn piece is the basis of all upholstery work.
VACUUM LAMINATION
Vacuum lamination of some specific parts is one of the fully automated processes at DAGRO Automotive.
LAMINATION
This concerns the joining of layered materials, usually as face layers (fabric, leather, imitation leather, alcantara, dynamica) with a softened bottom layer.
ULTRASONIC WELDING
This method of welding of thermoplastics and other materials using the oscillating ultrasonic energy at the joint (weld) is used in the manufacture of some specific interior components.
ADHESIVE SPRAYING
The upholstery process always begins with the application of an adhesive, both on the upholstery material and on the substrate onto which the material is placed.
DRYING
At DAGRO we use water-based adhesives. After application, it is then necessary to remove the undesirable moisture carefully, as this is the only way to achieve sufficient adhesion for subsequent upholstering.
RIVETING
Some projects require other ways of joining materials in addition to sewing. One of these is conventional riveting, for which we use pneumatic rivet guns.
STAPLING
In the case of some interior parts (especially for orders from the furniture industry), we use a stapling technology for upholstery.
PLASMA SURFACE TREATMENT
It is a surface treatment of non-polar plastics (PE, PP), where by disturbing the surface tension we increase the adhesive properties of the parts necessary to achieve the required strength in the upholstery process.
FINAL INSPECTION
In order to achieve maximum satisfaction of our customers, all products undergo a final quality inspection.

We will discuss your requirements in detail and tell you what we need to prepare a specific offer for you. To save you time and mileage, we will be happy to come to your company's headquarters or to a location you specify.
3. YOU PROVIDE YOUR DATA
Typically, drawings, material and supplier specifications, quality requirements, packaging, logistics concept, information about the project and its duration, order volume, etc. Where possible, you will provide us with samples of materials for the production of mock-ups of future products, based on their production, we will determine the best possible price beneficial to both parties.
4. WE PROPOSE A SOLUTION
Based on your input data, we will analyse the capacity and production requirements. If the solution proposal does not come from you, we will suggest the use of specific materials and process steps ourselves.
5. WE SELECT A SUPPLIER
If product development is proposed by DAGRO, we will select and propose all suppliers and fix the prices of the individual materials. If you as client nominate the suppliers (for automotive), we contact the individual suppliers and ask for quotations for the individual materials required for the calculation.
6. WE DEVELOP AND MANUFACTURE A SAMPLE
If we design the product development, we produce the final samples and send them to you for approval. If you do the development yourself (automotive), we will be happy to produce these samples for you to test and collect data for costing (material consumption, process times).
7. WE SEND DATA FOR CALCULATION
During the development and/or production of samples, we collect all data regarding process times and material consumption in order to provide you with the most accurate quotation.
8. WE PREPARE A PRICE CALCULATION
It includes material costs, transport, quantities produced, material consumption, production times, etc.). If we are not able to collect production data on the samples being manufactured (which is not always available), we draw on our years of experience and know-how from similar projects. In both cases, however, you will get the most accurate price of the manufactured part from us.
9. WE PRESENT AN OFFER TO YOU
We'll prepare a presentation of the offer and of DAGRO and send it to you together with the calculation by e-mail...
...and then we will go over it with you in a personal presentation (face-to-face or online). During the presentation, we will answer all your questions and comments.
